Elliott completed his bachelor of social work (BSW) at the University of Regina in 2012. Upon completion of his BSW, Elliott found employment with the Saskatoon Health Region in Mental Health and Addictions Services. As a social worker Elliott provides counselling services to the adult population in the area of domestic violence treatment. In 2014 Elliott enrolled in the master of social work program (MSW) under the Faculty of Graduate studies at the University of Regina. It was here that Elliott was introduced to the PeKiwewin project. Elliott learned more about the importance of the PeKiwewin project in relation to his work as a counsellor thus was grateful to have an opportunity to participate in PeKiwewin as a research practicum student. Elliott will be involved with the PeKiwewin project as a graduate student until March, 2017. If possible, Elliott would like to remain involved with the PeKiwewin project upon completion of his MSW.
