Sarah Nickel is an Indigenous historian, researcher and educator from Tk'emlupsemc (Kamloops Secwepemc). Sarah holds a B.A in History from the University of Lethbridge, a M.A from the University of Saskatchewan and a Ph.D from Simon Fraser University. Sarah publishes in the areas of Indigenous politics, activism, ethnohistory and feminisms. Sarah is currently a faculty member at the department of Indigenous Studies at the University of Saskatchewan, developing independent courses in her areas of expertise. Sarah has received various awards and grants for her outstanding academic achievement and community engagement over the years.
